MIDNIGHT RIDAZZ!

Friday night, 10:30 pm, in front of Griffith Park fountain. ~1000 crazy, drunken, bicyclists wearing pirate gear ready to ride through the streets of downtown Los Angeles, making a large public disturbance in the name of good bicycling fun. What is this mess? THE MIDNIGHT RIDAZZ. Oh yeah baby.

Here is Angela and I before the ride. My shirt has an angry Asian girl flipping people off.

Love that shirt.

Dave and Sarah before the ride. They were fun, they did the Pirate thing. The next few photos are of equally fun and slightly more drunk pirate people.

Now a very interesting thing happened to me during the ride. You see...lot's of people fell during the ride. 1000 people in downtown LA packed, drunk, and riding bikes do not make for a safe combination. However, I was very safe, keeping my eyes on the road at all times. I made it through the whole ride with nary a scratch. And then I fell AFTER the ride, when no one was around me, when nothing was in front of me, all by myself. I'm not sure how it happened. There were no rocks. I just fell. I still don't understand how I ended up on the ground. Here is my elbow to show it. My knee, my thigh, and my derriere also suffered in this fall.

And that was my MIDNIGHT RIDAZZ experience.

My sister likes to hurt herself every once in a while. She gets bored with life.

As one who falls a lot, I sympathize.

Hanah--please take notes: This is Nicole. She is the oldest sister also. She is sympathetic and cooks her younger sister, Tricia, yummy things to eat. I like her. Do you see the difference here?

I believe the words you used to describe hiking were "oh how fun!...does this require lot's of walking?" Are you sure it was behind your back? Just kidding...polka dance party tonight?
