Quickies

What is Oktoberfest? A whole lot of polka, chicken dancing, and drunken debauchery over and over again for two months straight. It's great. It's a headache. It's a whole bunch of moments of "oh I wish I didn't do that"...and yet we do it again year after year.

In Sari's words "my head is a growth growing between Mark and Joel". Why you got to separate them like that Suds?

What else? Sari and I went "costume shopping". This consisted of us going to large places with all this Halloween gear such as "HALLOWEEN HEADQUARTERS" in Pasadena only to find out they only had decorations and Sari yelling to the employees "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ARE NO COSTUMES? YOU ARE THE HALLOWEEN HEADQUARTERS!". Then we go to the "costume closet" in Rancho Palos Verdes (a 1 hour drive that Sari graciously drove)... the conversation went like this "WHAT DO YOU MEAN THERE ARE NO COSTUMES? YOU ARE THE COSTUME CLOSET". Needless to say, no costume as of yet. Sigh...I need to find a costume and fast!

Okay, that's all you get for now. I'm taking a salsa class on tuesdays and so far I have injured myself in salsa dancing far worse than I ever did in rock climbing. Salsa is hard. It is painful. It is not for the fragile. I am fragile. But I am determined. I'll try to provide pictures for next time.

And no...the elephant painting is not done...leave me alone.
