The Less Than 1%

We'll call my group The Suckers. We're the <1% of Americans who get the short end of the stick on EVERYTHING.

Tax rebate of 2007? No thank you. I make too much to qualify, but too little to not care.

Let's see, tax cut off of school loans? Nope. Doesn't matter that I owe more than some of you do on a house trying to get the income that made me uneligible for a rebate and in the highest tax bracket, I don't get to write off my school loan interest.

How about Loan Modifications? Hell no. I am that group of people that bought my house on a 30 year fixed rate and bought something within my means (i.e. monthly payment <30% of my monthly income). So while some of you who make half of what I make was buying a house twice the cost of mine and scoffing at my puny, old, condo, I was being responsible. Those people who scoffed now get to loan modify and/or get foreclosure relief all the while they bring my home price down. That's nice. Thank you.

I am bitter. I am bitter that almost everyone has taken a chunk of governmental money these last 2 years except me. The <1% of America.

Sorry everyone this post has offended. I'm rather angry that cautiousness and responsibility has lost the day. I belong the Responsibilitist Party.

Oh my bf just said "don't be the girl with the angry blog". He apparently didn't know me very well.
