HAPPY NEW YEAR'S
It will not be a Happy New Year's again for me for the 3rd year in a row. I can't particularly say in which order...they have just all been unhappy.
3 years ago I sprained my back sliding down the stairs of my new home. New Years was spent in the ER.
2 years ago my boss unexpectedly made 4 of the pharmacists work New Year's Eve (even though we all had worked the 2 holidays expected of us!). This also did not count toward holidays for next year and we had to work 2 more holidays. This sucked because I had made plans to go out of town.
This year I have to work on January 1st. AT 7 FREAKIN' AM! Who is going to call us at 7 FREAKIN' AM on January 1st??!! No one. No one at all.
However, I have made contingency plans. I will be celebrating New Year's on Dec. 30th at my coworker's house and this shall be fun.
