Duh! I Forgot!

I don't have to go to infinity and beyond to see the most beautiful place on earth! Yosemite is only a 5 hour drive away! I forget how awesome the views are until I get there.

Not to brag, but I had a much better weekend than you. Unless maybe you're Ben W. who just got his stolen car back from the Mexican border all souped up. Ben W. possibly had as good a weekend as me. But everyone else, my weekend was better.

So I went with some people who happen to be my family. Meet my family (that's my dad in the background):

Sean, my brother-in-law, is from Michigan--moved to California. Much like Ted Kaczynski (aka--The Unibomber).

My mother was also there, but she must be in the background insisting on cooking Kim Chee Ji Gae--something we tell her every time we go camping not to bring. Our conversations before camping with my mom go like this:

"Mom, dont bring anything...ANYTHING! We packed A LOT of food!!"

"I won't! I promise. I'm not bringing anything--more trouble for me!"

Alas, she brought a whole ice-chest full of food, mostly perishable and smelly which bears are sure to love. After a 20 min fight upon getting to the campsite, we realize we lost and settle down to try to eat her food as quickly as possible. Nothing hits the stop in sub-freezing temperature like ramen, kim chee ji gae, and oranges combined.

This combination of dinner opens up the real possibility of high alititude gas + cramped cabin odors later that evening. This tent was in for a real surprise. As usual, we stayed in Camp Curry. Best place to stay in Yosemite hands down.

I shall have to post what we did there later. Too much for one blog. Side note, it might look like beautiful weather, but it was below freezing. There was a snowstorm on the last day. Yikes!
